During Q2 2022, the first reduction in vacancies since the pandemic, mirrors the country’s energetic economic recovery

The pandemic induced a negative absorption during 2020 and its economic aftershocks kept pushing vacancies up throughout 2021. Rock-bottom production and a modest uptake allowed vacancy to fall slightly 13.4% during the first half of 2022.

Bogota submarkets had a mixed performance with two demand segments driving absorption: multinational corporations improving their infrastructure and backoffice operations expanding.
