JLL Colombia obtains the badge of a leader of Sustainable Construction

Bogotá, April 30, 2021 – JLL Colombia received the Sustainable Construction leader badge from the Colombian Council for Sustainable Construction. JLL is a founding member of this board, with which our Facilities Management and Project and Development Services teams have maintained a close collaborative relationship.

JLL was recognized as a leading company in the Real Estate sector that implements good construction practices concerning the environment. Juan Rengifo, Senior Project Manager, commented that "for JLL life is priceless and sustainability is non-negotiable, that is why we have included six of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations within the JLL business strategy." Shannon Robertson, Regional Director, added that " real estate accounts for about 40% of carbon emissions globally, which is why JLL has made an ambitious commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. We are very proud of getting this recognition because it indicates that we are on the right track."
